OVERVIEW
We were proud to play a key role in the extensive refurbishment and expansion works at Cromlix Hotel, the award-winning five-star country house hotel owned by Sir Andy Murray. Working closely with the principal contractors, designers and fellow trades, we were responsible for delivering a comprehensive mechanical and plumbing package throughout the project.
Complete renovation of the existing male and female public toilet facilities, together with the installation of three luxury en-suite bathrooms within the hotel's newly developed accommodation wing.
SCOPE OF WORK
Our scope involved the installation of all hot water, cold water and hot water return pipework, along with the full drainage network, connecting seamlessly into the hotel's existing infrastructure. We also sourced, supplied and installed all bathroom sanitaryware, brassware and accessories, ensuring every product met the exceptional standards expected of a Michelin Star, five-star hospitality venue.
In addition to the accommodation works, we carried out plumbing installations within the hotel's new wellness centre, including a bespoke shower room, bathroom facilities and boiling water tap installation. We also completed the renovation of the prestigious Rosemary Suite on the first floor, delivering a high-quality finish that complemented the hotel's luxurious character.
WORKING ALONGSIDE THE WIDER TEAM
Throughout the project, we worked collaboratively with all trades on site, coordinating installations to ensure efficient programme delivery and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship. We also supported specialist contractors with the installation of the main mechanical service runs across the development.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHT
A particular highlight of the project was the supply and installation of the new female washroom facilities, including a fully accessible WC and basin area. Using premium, high-end products and meticulous attention to detail, we delivered facilities that align with the elegance and quality expected throughout Cromlix Hotel.
This project showcased our ability to manage complex hospitality refurbishments, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and deliver high-end mechanical and plumbing installations that enhance both functionality and guest experience in one of Scotland's most prestigious luxury hotels.
